Articulated, size 4 rear/ size 2 front.
The Eyelash Minnow is usually the first streamer I reach for when prospecting new waters for big trout. The Eyelash yarn this fly incorporates breathes as you strip, and by blending multiple strands in each fly create a natural mottling of color. The bulky weighted head causes a vortex which forces the long tail to undulate like an actual fish swimming. By incorporating a unique middle segment of eyelash yarn between the hooks on the articulation joint, the Eyelash Minnow avoids the common problem of having a gap or unnatural looking clump of marabou. These shed water pretty well and are no problem to cast on 5 weights and above.
