Pyramid Lake has become a rite of passage—a pilgrimage, even an obsession—for many anglers (I’m firmly at the top of that list). It’s not just the massive Lahontan Cutthroat Trout; the water, weather, unique fishing techniques, and starkly beautiful landscape combine to make Pyramid a place every serious fly angler should experience at least once. Tying flies specifically for this fishery is my passion, and you won’t find more thoroughly researched, carefully tied, or consistently effective patterns anywhere else.
